Past Winners

Continuing with our tradition of amplifying marginalized voices, in this essay contest we would like to focus on voices from the Asian diaspora. The requirements are loose as we don’t believe in limiting your experience. It can be a funny story, a moment of homesickness, a lived encounter with racism, or anywhere in between.

File must be uploaded in pdf, doc, docx, or txt format before March 24, 2021

We will consider essays of any length, but we advise to keep it under 6,000 words. 

Must have as its primary focus a topic related to the experiences of people from the Asian diaspora living outside of Asia.
