Executive Orders Essay Contest

As always the requirements are left very loose as we don’t believe in limiting your experience. 

The only guideline is to use the executive orders signed by Donald Trump as a meditation. Read them here.

It can be a description of possible paths forward, a comparison with other countries, an encounter with protests, a lived experience, or anything else that touches on the topic. We are open to hearing all angles; tell us anything you believe needs to be said, anything only you can say.

Please keep in mind that this is a contest for creative essays, NOT academic. Style and craft will be used to determine the winner as much as content will. 

All submissions will also be considered for publication in the upcoming issue.

File must be uploaded in pdf, doc, docx, or txt format.

We will consider essays of any length, but we advise to keep it under 6,000 words. 

Must have as its primary focus a topic related to the executive orders signed by President Donald Trump in his second term.
