Submissions open for issue X

Submissions are now open for our tenth issue.

Open to all original poetry, short stories, and essays. There is no theme or length requirement. Our hope is that as our community develops, certain patterns will arise on their own that will be used to help shape the direction of our collective future.

Authors will receive $10 for each accepted work, to be paid via paypal.

There is a $2.75 submission fee. If you are unable or unwilling to pay then we are happy to waive it, but know that it is only used to help cover some of our expenses.

It is always a good idea to read a past issue or two to see the kind of work we accept. If you're considering submitting, contact us for a coupon code!

Requirements

Submissions open to any and all English language writers from any country, background, religion, skin color, social or economic status, gender identity, sexuality, etc.

All submissions must include author name as well as the city and country where the author resides or where the piece was written.

Submissions must be uploaded through our submission form at samfiftyfour.com/submit or by clicking the button below.

Multiple submissions accepted.

All works must be previously unpublished.

Entry deadline August 1, 2024. Any work submitted after this date will be held for the following issue.
